Pele is moving!! … Several 5-3-18 videos and article about the Lava breakouts at East Hawaii Island

Pele’s moving, baby! East Hawaii island is expereincing lava breakouts in a neighborhood called “Leilani Estates”. It’s pretty spectacular.

The first video below is about 10 minutes long, and gives a fairly comprehensive closeup picture of what’s going on, and Ikaika Marzo gives a message from a local’s perspective, about what a significant event this is.

Most of the people I know, and myself, live on the Kona (west) side, so we are far away from the active lava flow and breakouts. Mahalo to everyone who has expressed concern and sent positive thoughts.
