Kp Message 2-10-20… “Ceremony of closure for Mom”

On 2-8-20, I met with Mom’s side of the family at the cemetery where her and Dad’s headstone is located. It was quite cold outside (25 F) and very windy. The cemetery is located near Dad’s boyhood town. We had a “Ceremony of closure” for Mom.

We stood around the headstone and each said something that we remembered about Mom and her life. Some mentioned her smile, some mentioned her kindness, some mentioned how she’d talk with many she met, with kindness and understanding.

I recalled her support throughout my life, in all areas of my life, as well as her strength throughout the last three months of her life.

We then sang Amazing Grace, in both Hawaiian and English, and ended with Aloha ‘Oe.

Dad came along as well (at first he indicated he would not go, but then changed his mind after a day. He cried during part of the ceremony, and afterwards, as we drove through his small boyhood town on the way back.

Earlier that day, in the morning, I saw a red cardinal in one of the trees near our house. The message about cardinal, from one source, is:

Make sure that you balance your Spiritual Ideals along with your physical pleasures – this is the only way to achieve balance and harmony in your life.

Then later, I was taking a walk to a park I often visit on my walks, and I heard a rustling right next to me. I looked over, and it was a small deer! Amazing. It was standing right next to me, watching me.

That same site says about deer:

New adventures await you as the way is now clear. You are being gently nudged through this door.

In general, deer symbolism is often a sign not to be too hard on yourself. In other words, you must calm the voice of the self-critic and treat yourself with gentleness and understanding. Thus, deer meaning prompts you to be yourself and continue along your path. Moreover, seek out your inner treasures and use them generously to help those around you. You must also trust that kindness and graciousness will be well received.

Wow…! How well both of those messages are “applying themselves” to me.

I’m finding that I am here to primarily assist my father in his current situation, and oftentimes, to put my own “intense needs” aside, and just be with him. Recently he said that’s what he wanted, for me to be with him sometime during each day. So tonight I got my Roku fired up, and we both watched an episode of “Ice Pilots” (via Prime Video). He used to be a full-time pilot (of small planes), so he really can relate to that show.

Anyway, the current mission with Dad continues. One item after another is being addressed and we are doing what we can to help him heal, in his own way.

Right now, I’m really not looking too intensely at all the “energy stuff”, just noting things here and there. The most messages I get are when I’m driving the car, and posting the resulting video(s).
