Mother’s condition continues to improve. Her ability to eat solid foods has returned (in a small way, eating an occasional banana), and her voice is becoming clearer and more understandable.
She knows where things are in the house, and has directed me to several things she wants in her room at rehab. There is no doubt her mental state is excellent.
She understands this may be a slow process, but she takes it as it comes to her, and she is definitely expressing her wishes with strength (aka, she is not taking any “crap”).
We have no idea how long she will be in the rehab situation, but we are all holding the Light for her, and are grateful to all those who are doing the same.
