Three RT’s about the current political/MSM “Full Court Press” using “The Russia Card” (from 3-2-17, 3-3-17)

rt_cube_logo_150_48There is definitely a full court press* going on around anything Trump, administration, policies, cabinet appointments, etc. Although this game has been played for decades, apparently now it is being “ramped up” to new levels, even as “attacks” (restrictions, etc.) on the alternative media are ongoing. In my view, the MSM, TPTW (The Powers That Were), planetary sevice-to-self-only elites, are supremely desperate. They know their end is in sight. These three articles may give some idea of what’s going on, and how desperate they are.

This is also related to the preceding post.

* Full court press: A full-court press is a basketball term for a defensive style in which the defense applies pressure to the offensive team the entire length of the court before and after the inbound pass.

Russian Embassy brushes aside Sessions contact allegation (3-2-17) (and note where the report came from… WaPo)

“The Russian Embassy in Washington said it would not comment on alleged contacts between Ambassador Sergey Kislyak and US Attorney-General Jeff Sessions, adding that the embassy staff has “multiple contacts” with locals every day. The remark comes in response to the uproar in the US over a report in the Washington Post claiming that Sessions spoke to Kislyak twice last year.

“The Kremlin, in the meantime, ruled out any possibility that contacts between Sessions and the Russian embassy could have taken place. Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, said on Thursday he is unaware of any such talks between Sessions and Kislyak… establishing working contacts with host nation’s executive and legislative branches is an inherent part of an ambassador’s job.

“He also denounced the CNN report that referred to ambassador Kislyak as “one of Russia’s top spies and spy-recruiters,” urging the public not to react to “these de-personalized media allegations.””

Corruptive connection: Talking to Russians tantamount to treason for team Trump (3-3-17)

“As the struggle in the US between team Trump and its numerous critics intensifies, Russia has been upgraded in the media eye from a vaguely hostile nation to a diabolical power that corrupts any US official by mere contact. Depicting President Trump as a traitor and a Russian pawn is now months in the making. It rapidly evolved from the chuckled jokes about ‘Siberian candidate’ during the campaign to the now-infamous ‘golden shower’ dossier given validity by CNN after his surprise win.

“Earlier Michael Flynn had to resign as national security adviser less than a month after taking the position. He stepped down over allegedly misleading Vice-President Mike Pence about his phone calls with Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergey Kislyak. Media reports alleged that Flynn discussed anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the outgoing President Barack Obama with the Russian diplomat.

“Reluctance to disclose any Russian connection would now be understandable for Trump’s people. Apparently, for many politicians and journalists, meeting a Russian ambassador is suspicious at best, and treasonous at worst – regardless of circumstances.”

‘Like McCarthyism’: Lavrov slams US ‘witch hunt-like’ scrutiny of Russian ambassador’s contacts (3-3-17) (btw, McCarthyism: the practice of making accusations of subversion or treason without proper regard for evidence. It also means “the practice of making unfair allegations or using unfair investigative techniques, especially in order to restrict dissent or political criticism.)

“With Russian Ambassador to the USA Sergey Kislyak’s contacts with members of the Trump administration under scrutiny, Moscow won’t apply a tit-for-tat approach to US Ambassador to Russia John Tefft, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov promised. Lavrov said the whole situation resembled the days of McCarthyism.

“According to Lavrov, the situation developing around Kislyak and his contacts is reminiscent of “witch hunt.” “I can refer to a quote spread in the media today: all of this looks very much like a witch hunt or the days of McCarthyism, which we long thought have passed in the US, a civilized country,” Lavrov said.

“The minister noted that ambassadors are appointed to maintain relations with the host country. “Relationships are maintained in the form of meetings, talks, contacts with both executive officials [from the current administration] and with politicians, public figures, non-governmental organizations. This practice has never been disputed,” Lavrov said.”
