I don’t remember the exact date I came across Sibel Edmonds’ 2004 open letter to Thomas Kean, Chairman National Committee on Terrorist Attacks Upon the United States, but I do remember that it had a powerful impact on me.   I had already awakened to the fact that we were not getting the full story of the atrocity of 9/11. In my mind, it just didn’t seem to make sense that the most highly armed, most powerful nation on the planet 1) could not have known something was up and 2) could have allowed the extremely guarded airspace above Washington and especially the Pentagon to be penetrated, unless by design. The subsequent dash to Iraq for more “nation annihilation” confirmed to me something was very, very wrong.

So, when I read Sibel Edmonds’ letter, I felt a strong “zing” blast into the already open crevice of my awakening soul.

I recognized the truth.

Her story and her experiences are something you must read to fully get a grasp on. Even now it’s hard to digest.

I’ve been wanting for some time to share the heroic stories of women like Sibel who, through their own research and personal experiences, have provided astonishing information (at great personal risk and sacrifice) so that humanity could better see and understand the “swamp” that is United States politics, and by osmosis, the world’s politics.
