Two VTs 3-3-16… Kevin Barrett, “Anti-truther Witch Hunt at Oberlin” and “Surprise, surprise, Michigan governor has lawyered up” (and it’ll only cost the MI people $249,000!)

veterans_today_banner_NEW_244veterans_today_kevin_barrett_banner_35These sort of “stuck out” at this time. I like what Kevin had to say to Oberlin College president, and apparently it made a difference. Free speech may very well be still alive at Oberlin.

And that other article answers an important question in Michigan: Q. How many Michiganders can $249,000 feed? A. Apparently only 2… two lawyers, that is.

I say, “Hold all of these beings in the Light… even the a$$holes.” (and yes, the “$” sign fits right in there).

Anti-truther witch hunt fizzles at Oberlin College

“A rabid little Fox [News] is drooling and gnashing its teeth. But that hasn’t stopped Oberlin College from respecting the academic freedom of Professor Joy Karega, who is being witch-hunted by the neocon-Zionist network for speaking honestly about 9/11 and the two 2015 Paris false flags.

“[Oberlin President Marvin Krislov] I believe, as the American Association of University Professors says, that academic freedom is ‘the indispensable quality of institutions of higher education’ because it encourages free inquiry, promotes the expansion of knowledge, and creates an environment in which learning and research can flourish.”

[Kevin Barrett] “To the administrators, faculty, staff and students of Oberlin College (emailed 2/29/2016)… It has come to my attention that a member of the Oberlin faculty, Professor Joy Karega, is being witch-hunted by the same forces that drove me out of the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. Specifically, Professor Karega is being hounded for suggesting that the Charlie Hebdo attacks may have been a false flag event, and that Israel and its extremist Prime Minister may have helped orchestrate the crime. Such views may sound odd or unusual to uncritical consumers of Western mainstream media. But in fact they are both widespread and well-supported by considerable evidence.”

Michigan’s GOP Governor Lawyers Up in Child Poisoning Scandal

“Michigan Governor Rick Snyder has retained two attorneys, including a civil defense lawyer and a criminal lawyer, to serve as “investigatory counsel” as the bombshells keep exploding regarding his role in the Flint water crisis. The lawyers were each awarded a contract valid throughout 2016 worth $249,000 each — to be paid by “state funds,” or the taxpayers.

“Since the [lead in Flint water] scandal broke, activists, residents, and politicians have all been calling for Snyder’s resignation. On Wednesday, Michigan House Democratic leader Tim Greimel became the first state legislator to join their calls.

“The FBI has joined the US Postal Inspection Service, the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of the Inspector General, and the EPA’s Criminal Investigation Division, into the wide-ranging criminal probe of the Flint water crisis, to determine which laws were broken and who broke them.”
