Now that I have returned and “recovered” (hey, it was all part of an ever-expanding-in-consciousness journey) from the “lockout”, I wanted to give my Mahalo nui loa to these people…

  • The beautiful family at Hapuna parking lot who let me use their cell phone.
  • The Hawaii County police person who connected me with Cartow Kohala company, in Hawi, to get me back into my car.
  • Melvin, at Cartow Kohala, who “broke all the rules” to drive 30 miles and get there before the Hapuna Beach parking lot gate closed.
  • And finally, Cartow Kohala, who listened to my plea for help, and responded really fast. Their information is below, should you need a tow or lockout service in the Kohala region.
