Kingdom of Hawai’i Blog… “Lamakū Mikahala Roy 7-8-15… “E Nana i Ke Kumu i Ke Alii Nui Mo’i O Ka ‘Aina” and “Mauna Kea Conveyance””

This is quite the different post from Kingdom of Hawai’i blog. I am simply posting it here, as there, and allow you to make your own connections. “Lamakū” means “torch” or (presumably) Light, the “Head” Light. In Mikahala’s case, she is steward of Kamakahonu, as was her father before that.

Mikahala Roy is Lamakū of Ahu’ena Heiau at Kamakahonu (located at Kailua Kona). These documents were recently written by Mikahala and and requested to be published, by Ali`i Nui Mō`ī Edmund K. Silva, Jr.
