Calm of the Palm
There’s a set of large umbrellas here now at Java on the Rock. They were put up to protect night time customers at the outdoor Huggos bar area from the rain so that they would not all run away (and Huggos would lose lots of income).
BUT… The only place I now sit is far left where there IS no umbrella coverage. And I can see the sky and this palm, and either get sun or not. This is calm of the palm. Which is more important to me than sitting under big tall umbrellas.
The sky is always a messenger for me. As well as the clouds, the birds that fly over here, especially ‘Io (Hawaiian hawk… check that one out sometime).

So messengers are sent from many corners, spots. Sometimes within, sometime from the “Without”. We are also messengers for each other.
But my favorites at this moment come from the sky, and the palm. In the “Calm of the Palm.”

And these guys just came into Huggos (it’s the lunch place that Java Rocks turns into at 11 AM.). Two Big Eye tuna. This is what we see a lot of here Kona side. Beautiful fish.
