For those interested, Angel Numbers 101 has this to say about the 222 (p. 63):

Trust that everything is working out exactly as it’s supposed to, with Divine blessings for everyone involved. Let go and have faith.

Could be a message for myself (and/or all of us?) to let go, and allow the Divine Plan to unfold.
