This is an excellent summary video, in my view, of the whole picture of “Protection of Mauna a Wākea” through the last few years. This shows three of the very important people involved with the protectors.

HILO, Hawaii – Kealoha Pisciotta and Keomailani Von Gogh of Mauna Kea Anaina Hou and Deborah Ward, all part of the Mauna Kea Hui of petitioners who successfully appealed the state land board decision to grant a conservation district use permit to the Thirty Meter Telescope on Mauna Kea, speak in Hilo following the news of the Supreme Court’s decision to vacate the $1.4 billion observatory’s permit.
