This part of the mission involved flying, via Mokulele Airlines (single engine plane, 9-10 passenger) from Maui to Molokai, then to Kalaupapa, and from there, to Honolulu.
The journey itself, via Mokulele, is absolutely breathtaking, on both segments, from Maui to Molokai (where you fly level with the top of the cliffs, and Molokai to Oahu (where you fly over the valleys and see wonderful views of Diamondhead and Pearl Harbor).
A ceremonial silver coin was placed on Molokai, and the landing (and taking off) from Kalaupapa, I felt was a connection with some type of healing process for the islands.
Anyway, enjoy the video playlist, and the images.
[Kp note 1: I’ll be uploading the videos playlist and images for other phases of the mission, one at a time, likely over the next week.]
[Kp note 2: Please pardon that some of the videos in this part are very, very short (I was keeping tem short so I could share with a few via text message).]
