Hard to believe, it seems… I’m up at 2:23 AM after a very full day of much activity:
1. Mayan mocha and Peruvian coffee at Viator.
2. Costco shopping for items.
3. To Walmart to pick up plastic “mattress bags”.
4. Walking 2 miles.
5. Taking (formerly) my Dad’s mattress and box springs (quite old, but in good shape), placing them in the mattress bags (not a real “easy” task… floppy mattress and all), and then placing out at the curb for recycling pickup.
6. Vacuuming where the bed used to be (Holy crap… lots of dust under there!).
7. Having dinner.
8. Taking a few stacks of wood from the basement, wrapping with tape / twine, and placing out by the curb for trash pickup (one corner of the basement is (finally) clear of stuff).
9. Sitting here and writing this blog post.
The “clarification” part of this message refers to what I did just prior to my leaving the house at Park Rapids, MN (near the headwaters)… I asked my Guide(s) for Guidance about what am I going to do with “The House” (in which I’m currently residing).
So, anyway, I left Park Rapids, drove the 10 hours back to Illinois, and when I opened the house door and went in, the first though that came was, “This house stinks!!!!”
I was not amused with the aroma, which I’ve noted for years, when I’d visit from Hawaii. During those visits, I would say, “Well, at least I only have to be here a few days… then I’m out of here.” Now, though, I’m a bit “stuck” here, until the house is readied for… whatever.
So the Guidance was clear… this is not my house. I want to live in a place where the air is natural, flows freely through the house, and is not conditioned. That’s what I’d been in in Minnesota.
Anyway, the following day, AC was turned off, as many windows as possible were opened, and that’s the way it stayed until I retired to bed.
Also, some ideas came through about how to (perhaps) make it easier on myself to get the house ready for the next occupants (I’ll keep those ideas to my Self, for now).
Bottom line is, I asked, and I received, and the “much activity” today was quite effortless.
Anyway, there’s so much going on now, planet-wise, that it might be easy to get “caught up” in that, but I am not. To me, it is most important to ask for, and follow, my own Guidance, whatever that is.
Blessings to all, on this beautiful day…
Aloha, Kp
