I met several Kia’i (protectors) going from Kauai and Oahu to this Mauna Kea 8-11 event during my return trip from Kauai.

I feel this is particularly significant ceremony, for the entire planet.

The ceremonies are taking place in front of Pu’u Huluhulu (which is the hill in the background).
