Gab… being “attacked”… Founder says “Gab will likely be down for weeks” (and a note from Neon Revolt)

Although I did not copy the original text before Gab shut down today (which apparently it has… keep getting 404, 502 errors). [2 minutes later] Okay, now it’s back up. So I’ve copied and pasted the text from the posts below.

Andrew Torba, Gab’s cofounder, wrote the post below. Prior to this (by about 5 hours) he wrote that PayPal had banned Gab from using its services.

Clearly (to me, at least), this is a major last ditch effort to silence those who are not in line with “the MSM narrative” (sorry, “the msm narrative”, since the standard msm channels have not earned all caps, in my view). This will all sort itself out. One step at a time. Also, it’s a clear message, for those who wish to still use social media, to continue to have multiple channels for posting.

Breaking: @joyent, Gab’s new hosting provider, has just pulled our hosting service. They have given us until 9am on Monday to find a solution. Gab will likely be down for weeks because of this. Working on solutions. We will never give up on defending free speech for all people.

CBS is attacking Gab, frankly, because I’m here, and having wild success with it.

The Technocrats tried to ban me on Twitter (for posting a Sam Hyde meme, of all things). They deplatformed me on Facebook. And now, because they can’t control the Gab admins to get rid of me here, they’re trying to dismantle the site, piece-by-piece, utilizing attacks like today as an excuse.

Watch them come for Cloudflare, next, to try and increase Gab’s server load.

It doesn’t matter what you do, Mockingbirds. You can’t stop the #QArmy. I doubt you’ll win this battle, but know that I surely look forward to the day when all of you #Clowns are carted off in a paddy wagon to Gitmo.

And no, Dan Patterson. “Hate Speech” is not a legal term. Free Speech encompasses speech you may find personally offensive. Threats of violence do not fall under the banner of Free Speech, but “Hate Speech?” Yeah, that’s protected under the law in America. Cart your sorry tuckus up to Cucknadia if you want “Hate Speech” policed. The concept doesn’t exist here in America.

I’ve rarely seen such a cascade of bald-faced lies rattled off, one after the other.
