Niara Terela Isley FB post 10-7-18… “What the Hell Happened at Gaia?”

This FB post from Niara Terela (found via Jordan Sather’s FB). I do not know the details about what’s been going on at Gaia, nor have I been following any of the Gaia developments, but I am grateful to read about others’ perceptions and messages about what’s going on.

As a comment on the same post, Jordan Sather wrote… “Gaia’s current situation is an example of ego run wild within a corporation, and the backlash that the universe will always provide in that case. Ethics and morality will always triumph over greed. I am thankful I did not pursue the show they offered me earlier this year.”

What the Hell Happened at Gaia?

I really think that greed and the power to hold a major monopoly on the spirituality-consciousness-alternative health/wellness-disclosure-conspiracy theory market was what was driving them at the inception of their enterprise. They marketed themselves to people like David Wilcock, Patty Greer and others, and very successfully, as a platform to bring their work to a much larger audience.

In hindsight, it was like a corporate stable with each of these people like prize horses in that stable. These prize horses made them rich, but meanwhile, over time, these “horses” found that their contracts were definitely limiting just like stable walls and corrals. Gaia corporate could be the gatekeepers of their content and owned copyrights to content produced on their platform.

Also, while corporate management was getting wealthy from the content their stable of “horses” produced, these individuals, while making decent money, were not having enough of the fruits of their labor coming back to them. They were making Gaia management rich with their unique content, but only sharing in a fraction of the money their unique content was making. Not at all fair.

It was bound to crash as it is now, and now Gaia corporate is really running scared, and trying to recoup and keep their cash flowing in after the departures of some of their prize “horses”.

They want to utterly and exclusively control the disclosure narrative and they want to punish those who left by making sure they can’t get work, attention, or use the word disclosure.

It’s not going to work, and this is why.

The very people first attracted to subscribing to the Gaia network are a demographic of folks of better than average intelligence and education, and by their very natures of wanting the information Gaia was promising, were people who value honesty and integrity highly. Gaia corporate, trying to do damage control by quickly finding their own “secret space program insider”, vetted by god-knows-who or by what standards, is an absolute affront to the intelligence, honesty and integrity of their subscribers.

Gaia corporate has now shown, and continues to show, their true face, and its a not a pretty face. And it’s a face most of their subscribers are not going to want any part of.
