I’d never heard of this “Discerning Vibes” blog, but she made a link to this prior Suzanne Spooner + Todd post so I checked out her article. Seems that several are reporting their own insights, and I felt this one was asking to be posted. Her pathway seems somewhat similar to mine, “politically”, that is (I personally align with no party, do not label myself with any terms like “liberal, conservative, progressive, anti-gressive (is that the opposite of “progressive?), or any other).
For those interested, the Doreen Virtue Oracle cards are available at Doreen Virtue’s website, Hay House, and Amazon. Apparently the cards are also available as an app.
“The 2016 US Presidential election has divided many people from their friends and family. Although I’ve tried earnestly to keep the peace, I have not been immune to the election drama… my husband and I… [have both]… “lost” someone in their grief and mourning over Trump’s win. Hopefully, they are not permanent losses.
“Fake Progressives are perfectly fine with soaring inequality and corrupt governance, as long as everyone’s public utterances are politically correct. Sometimes who lost is more important than who won.
“The biased media has greatly added to the divisiveness between left and right. The Clinton media stooges (CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Huffington Post) attacked Donald Trump on a daily basis while ignoring many of the revelations from Wikileaks about Hillary Clinton. It was literally a media circus of character assassinations…
“…what is the spiritual part of all of this? As I’ve said, Hillary Clinton represents to me the elitist establishment that cares not for the average citizen, and Donald Trump (though egotistical and “politically incorrect”) is part of the wave of anti-establishment sentiment that cannot be ignored.”

Coming out of the (spiritual) (political) closet again after a four-year hiatus
The card pictured above comes from Doreen Virtue’s Ascended Masters Oracle Cards. I picked this from the 44-card deck not long ago. It’s the universe responding to my fear of speaking about spirituality and politics to anyone else besides my husband and a few close family members.
The 2016 US Presidential election has divided many people from their friends and family. Although I’ve tried earnestly to keep the peace, I have not been immune to the election drama. Luckily, my husband and I are in personal agreement. Both of us has “lost” someone in their grief and mourning over Trump’s win. Hopefully, they are not permanent losses.
When Trump’s win was announced, we both inwardly breathed a huge sigh of relief that Hillary Clinton had lost. It might come as a huge shock to many who might casually know me from my prior career as a working flight attendant. Most people look at me and automatically assume many things about me. They see that I’m a female Asian American and think: “Aha! She’s a Democrat.” They further extrapolate from my ethnic appearance and imagine which side I might be on and what my views may be.
Over the years, I’ve gone from left to right to middle to independent. My journey has shown me that the political circus is the result of having willingly given our personal power away to the elites in the backrooms of corporations (who own the media), government (who are bought out by lobbyists), and the military-industrial complex (who profit from endless war). When I mean “willingly,” I mean that we do not hold the people on “our team” responsible for their actions. As long as they are wearing “our jersey” and say the correct things in public, they are not held accountable for their actions behind closed doors. One of my favorite financial bloggers, Charles Hugh Smith wrote in a recent post:
Fake Progressives are perfectly fine with soaring inequality and corrupt governance, as long as everyone’s public utterances are politically correct. Sometimes who lost is more important than who won.
Well put. Trump is no saint, but anyone who has read the leaked emails from the DNC controversy and John Podesta should come to see Hillary Clinton as the epitome of the brazenly corrupt political establishment. She would have led the country into another endless war while painting Putin and Russia as the enemy.
The biased media has greatly added to the divisiveness between left and right. The Clinton media stooges (CNN, The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Huffington Post) attacked Donald Trump on a daily basis while ignoring many of the revelations from Wikileaks about Hillary Clinton. It was literally a media circus of character assassinations that distracted from the truly troubling data dumps.
So, what is the spiritual part of all of this? As I’ve said, Hillary Clinton represents to me the elitist establishment that cares not for the average citizen, and Donald Trump (though egotistical and “politically incorrect”) is part of the wave of anti-establishment sentiment that cannot be ignored. In a post from Kauilapele’s Blog, the US presidential election is seen as part of a tidal wave of light that is clearing out the darkness. For those who feel despair, I highly recommend watching this video clip.

And know this:
Not all is as it seems. Something big is on the way. Change on a global level that begins as each and every one of us awakens to the truth behind all the deception.
Truth will change everything.
