Ever Wonder what Telescope Construction on Mauna Kea Looks Like?

This is the Subaru telescope, built in the early 1990s. This is one of the (many) reasons people are up there protecting the Mauna.

So, as Lanny Sinkin asked in his FB posting, “Ever wonder what building a telescope does to the Mountain?”
