From Kingdom of Hawai'i Blog… Ali`i Mana`o Nui Lanny Sinkin, 4-7-15… "[Cover] Letter to President Obama"

I felt this cover letter for the last King’s letter post was important to post separately. Below are a couple of points I found noteworthy.

“As you may be aware, a major controversy has emerged surrounding the initiation of construction of a huge telescope on the sacred mountain of Mauna Kea on the Island of Hawai’i… In response, the King issued a series of documents, including Cease and Desist Orders.
“Today, the King issued a follow up message, which identifies the Mauna Kea controversy as a defining moment in the history of the Kingdom restoration movement.
“The heart of the problem is the failure of all those committing these actions to realize that the days of belligerent occupation are drawing to a close as the Kingdom emerges.”
