This message was just posted at the Kingdom of Hawai’i blogsite. Here are a few highlights.
“Many of you have dreamed of the restoration of the Kingdom of Hawai`i for an entire lifetime, as have I. It has been my pre-ordained journey to restore our nation to what it once was, and I have sworn to complete this task for the good of our people and this āina. While some of you have the heart and physical strength to continue this journey with me, many of you are weary. I know you are, and want to assure you that I hear your questions and concerns.
“But I encourage you … do not lose your faith. It is when we feel that another step is impossible, that we are given a heavenly source of strength – the strength to keep moving forward, even if our steps are very small. This is the way we will reach our final victory, and see our beautiful Kingdom of Hawai`i restored.
“Much like a mountain surrounded in a mist, the Kingdom of Hawai`i exists. It is here among us. And though it has taken much longer than we would like for it to appear, it will eventually emerge from the mist, for all to see.
“Let us forgive each other and ourselves and move together as one big, powerful tidal wave of Unconditional Love that is unstoppable, incorruptible and undeterred.”

Aloha Kakou,
I ka ‘ōlelo no ke ola, i ka ‘ōlelo nō ka make. In the language is life. In the language is death. Words can heal; words can destroy.
I am writing this letter filled with a heart of love for each one of you, so together we can heal. E aloha kekahi i kekahi – Love one another.
Many of you have dreamed of the restoration of the Kingdom of Hawai`i for an entire lifetime, as have I. It has been my pre-ordained journey to restore our nation to what it once was, and I have sworn to complete this task for the good of our people and this āina. While some of you have the heart and physical strength to continue this journey with me, many of you are weary. I know you are, and want to assure you that I hear your questions and concerns.
Yes, we have had many disappointments, as we have worked so hard and long in our efforts. And there are many people who wish for our disappointments and weariness to stop us from continuing on. There are also people that have purposely placed hot stones in our path, and even when we found a way to walk on those stones, have then put boulders in front of us to impede our efforts.
But I encourage you … do not lose your faith. It is when we feel that another step is impossible, that we are given a heavenly source of strength – the strength to keep moving forward, even if our steps are very small. This is the way we will reach our final victory, and see our beautiful Kingdom of Hawai`i restored.
Much like a mountain surrounded in a mist, the Kingdom of Hawai`i exists. It is here among us. And though it has taken much longer than we would like for it to appear, it will eventually emerge from the mist, for all to see.
The mist that I speak of is neither good nor bad, it just “is”. But it is so real that it prevents access to the mountain. It allows you just enough of a view to see the outlines of a mountain, and allows your imagination to tell you what it might look like, feel like and smell like, while still beyond your reach.
I would equate this example of the misty mountain to loving someone so deeply, whom you do not have access to — as she or he is behind the mist. They are so close to you, but untouchable. Oh the heartache and despair you have as you wait for the mist to depart and your beloved to come home to you.
This is what I know … the mist will depart when the warmth and light of the sun appears and burns it away.
You are here, joined together with me because you love the land … our beautiful, God-given ancestral lands.
It was given to our ancestors in love, and it is our ancestors who lovingly cared for it all those long years ago. We are their children, tasked to keep the Kingdom of Hawai`i alive, and to work as hard as we can to restore it to its rightful place among the nations of the world.
But I feel that before it is to be restored, we must ourselves be restored. There is so much hurt and anger that has taken root within our very beings. There is so much distrust and fear that has become a part of our lives; fused into our very being.
Of course we can point to many reasons for why this has occurred. Many of us have been mocked, we have been abused, we have been rejected, we have been betrayed, and we have been called by the world, “fools,” for aspiring toward our dream of Kingdom restoration.
Oh yes, we have wrung our hands and cried out to our families, and our neighbors, and the occupiers of this land to help us get back our land. Why have they not answered us? Why have they ignored our cries? “Why?” we ask over and over. And year after year we have no answers and no tangible results, and this is what causes bitterness and anger to well up inside of us.
Many, many of us have cried out to our heavenly Father as well, and even misdirected our anger toward Him. We say, “If You loved us, why did you allow our land to be stolen in the first place? And since you allowed it, why have you not helped us get it back?”
It is very important to realize that when we turn away from God, it is essential that we change our ways and turn towards Him rather than away from Him.
But sadly, many of our people did not do this and we became the antithesis of what we once were – a people of love turned to people of fear, anger and even hate. We have lost our spirits over all these years – decapitated spirits is what I have called it in my previous writings. We are wandering spirits severed from our Mother and our Father. Our mother – the land; our father – the royal family who were the shepherds of the land and our people so long ago.
I hope you now have a new understanding … that the restoration of the Kingdom we so long to see in our lifetime must start with our own personal restoration – to become a people of love, a people of Godly spirit, capable of loving, trusting and caring for one another once again, and turning our faces toward our heavenly Father.
We are not without help.
What are our ancestors saying to us? Do you hear their voices in your heart? They are saying to take a deep breath, sit down and rest, and then rise, and continue on. Let us do so together … for them, for our children, and our future generations.
As we know, there are many fragments of people all over the world desiring Hawai`ian sovereignty.
The word “fragment” is the exact word that concerns me. A better word, and one I hope to use one day is “united”. Yes, a united people we must be. We must embrace those who are not personally connected to us or to the Kingdom of Hawai`i. We must embrace those who we consider outsiders, or different than us because of their point of view, race or religion.
You may wonder, how do we embrace those we do not know, or may not even like or trust? My answer is … that we embrace them with LOVE, and in the power of LOVE.
We unite in LOVE, and it will be LOVE that gives us the heavenly strength I spoke of earlier.
There is a reason the world thinks Hawai`i is the land of ALOHA. It is because it once was. But look around, are we still the land of Aloha? No, we are not. Those are just words without Spirit that are attached to our land, and it is unfortunate that people believe those empty words.
But we will change this, and we will restore the true meaning of ALOHA to the land. We will do so united in love.
We must deeply love each other, as well as our enemies. We must deeply love our land, and most especially, deeply love our Creator. As we learn to love this way, the mist will begin to dissipate, and we will see the Kingdom of Hawai`i emerge, bathed in the light of love … the land of Aloha finally restored.
With me, I ask that you dig deep inside yourself for this kind of love, and begin to speak Aloha, sing Aloha, and dance ALOHA to and with each other, and all over this land.
A while ago, I was given a poem; which today, expresses a similar choice I have made to continue on my sacred path, with peace in my heart.
Love is the Answer to unite…
Having lived through the darkest of nights, I look …
Is that dawn approaching?
Thank God.
I am here. I am alive.
I see the morning sun;
The rays of light warm me.
Today, a choice is mine to make.
To live in fear, or to live in peace.
To follow or not follow, the shepherd, who leads, protects and provides me with all I need.
I decide to follow the shepherd, and I choose peace.
I go forth.
I do battle.
I live.
Later, I prepare to rest.
As shadows are cast from the setting sun,
And daylight melts into darkness,
Fear leaps out, but is quickly quelled by the presence of the shepherd.
Peace returns.
I remember today’s dawn,
And I remember,
Dawn always returns.
‘A‘ohe hana nui ke alu ‘ia. No task is too big when done together by all.
Let us forgive each other and ourselves and move together as one big, powerful tidal wave of Unconditional Love that is unstoppable, incorruptible and undeterred.
