Scotland overwhelmingly “rejects” independence (?)

[Kp note: given the following post, I’ve added a “” to the “rejects” above, and a ? at the end of the title.]

Although the results for independence were not what I would have liked to see, I am quite sure the fact that almost half (45%) of the Scots voted for independence, will resonate throughout the UK for a long time. What will happen as a result? We shall see.

The Yes campaign is roundly defeated with 55 per cent of Scotland voting to remain in the 307-year-old Union.
