[Editors Note: Almost every time Putin or Lavrov made a statement it makes me want to call them to say they could have a good retirement career giving US politicians and our State Department Skype night classes in leadership and diplomacy.
When we hear the drivel coming out of the US make-believe leaders, you know some staff puke wrote up some garbage after talking to his handler about what words to put into the boss’s mouth to make him look tough.
But they miss grasping that this is not a child’s game they play, but one where mistakes, and especially bad ones, cause a lot of people to die that did not have to.
In our culture of pretend-a-leadership, this is not even a theoretical occupational hazard as no one expects to be held accountable for anything unless they got caught with a goat somewhere at a Holiday Inn. There is no where near the amount of booing that we should be seeing at political events
Public trust in American government is the lowest on record, yet people act like they are at a TV live game show. Maybe they know something that I don’t…so maybe I am the dummy… Jim W. Dean
