This is why Obama is here…Planet Earth Transition…this is a World Address…

These videos are of President Obama’s speech today (2/11/11) about events in Egypt. The first video below I was alerted to as I am a subscriber to the “ufosindeutschland” YouTube page. I enjoyed this presentation of Mr. Obama’s speech about this turning point in Egypt’s history. Below the video is my comment, and below that is the unedited original White House video, and links to the mp4 movie and mp3 audio should you wish to download those (or you may go to Whitehouse.gov). This hit me very strongly when I first saw it. Enjoy.

This speech, in my mind, illustrates why Mr. Obama is President. He is not only President of the U.S., but he is very much a President for the world; Not of the world, rather for the world.

He is one who has come here to unite, not to divide. He is one who has come here to bring all of the cultures together as a community of one. Not where all are identical or behave the same way or have the same dress or governmental structures or religions or understandings. He has come here to play a key role in assisting each one of us to understand we have the opportunity (and responsibility) to see ourselves as a member of not just one blood family, not just one race, not just one state, not just one country, not just one religion, not just one sect, but as a member of one much larger family… The family of Planet Earth.

Some of us who have traveled abroad know that wherever we are, wherever we live, we are but one small part of this planet we call Earth, Gaia, Turtle Island, Honua. That is why Obama is here. That is why he stands tall in the face of all opposition to him, all opposition to his politics, all opposition to his mixed racial makeup, all opposition to his love, honor, and respect for all humanity. He knows he is one part of a much larger whole. He is here to help unite all in the understanding that, in spite of appearing as these many differing parts, we are all indeed One.

We are all indeed One in the Human-Unity of Planet Earth. That is why Obama is here. That is why I am here.
